Betty L. Roberts, 79, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died February 24, 2014 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, Ohio.
She was born April 6, 1934 in Covington, KY, to James and Stella (Webster) Brown. On April 28,1951, she married the late James Roberts Sr., who died January 19, 2010.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Kathy (John) Wolf of Fort Recovery,OH, Beck (Chuck) Wolf of Coldwater,OH, and Kristina (Aaron)Olsen of Columbus,OH; a son, Bob (Lori) Roberts of Portland,IN; a brother, Kirtley (Brenda) Brown of Morningview,KY; 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great,great grandchild; a daughter-in-law, Sherry Roberts of Salamonia,IN, and a brother-in-law, David Beard of Covington,KY;
Other deceased family members include a son, James Roberts Jr. and four sisters, Vivian Whitton, Dora Hicks, Joyce Marksberry, and Donna Sue Beard.
She attended the Fort Recovery United Methodist Church in Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Services are 10:30 am Thursday at Fort Recovery United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Allan Brown and Rev. David Gordon officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Calling is 4:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home and Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 am at the church. Contributions may be directed towards the wishes of the family.
