Catherine M. Franke

Catherine M. Franke, 65, Celina, OH and formerly of Fort Recovery, OH, died October 12, 2013 from injuries sustained from an auto accident in Darke County, Ohio.
She was born March 2, 1948 in Toledo, OH, to the late John Berry and the late Ruth (Brahm). On May 12, 1973, she married Steve Franke, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Steve A. Franke of Columbus, OH; a daughter, Julie (Nathan) Cline of Marysville, OH; a brother, John Berry of Grand Rapids, MI; a sister, Sarah (Robert) Potts of Alexandria, VA; four grandchildren, Sophia, Shepard, Daphne and Bode; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Richard Smith of Commerce, MI.
She was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio.
She retired as a Tax Administrator of the Village of Fort Recovery.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Recovery and the Fort Recovery Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Services are 7:30 pm Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Sharon Stonerock and Rev. Verl Ballmer officiating.
Calling is 4:00 pm-7:30 pm Tuesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
