Charles N. "Charlie" Brunswick, 76, Bryant, Indiana, died January 30, 2015 at his residence near Bryant, IN.
He was born January 31, 1938, in Wendelin, OH, to the late Lawrence and Stella (Reichert) Brunswick. On December 2, 1961, he married Janet (Schwieterman) Brunswick, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kris (Charlie) Vogel of Fort Recovery, OH; three sons, Alan Brunswick of Bryant, IN, Jack Brunswick of Geneva, IN, Greg (Carey) Brunswick of Portland, IN; two brothers, Louis (Ann) Brunswick of Coldwater, OH, Paul (Shirley) Brunswick of Maria Stein, OH; a sister, Irma (Urban) Arling of North Star, OH; 13 grandchildren; three in-laws, Lavern Schwieterman of Lakeview, OH, Sylvia (Victor) Poeppelman of Lantana, TX, and Mary Hemmelgarn of Portland, IN.
Also deceased are three sisters, Adele Stelzer, Marie Uhlenhake, and Rita Brunswick, and a brother, Cletus Brunswick.
He was a 1956 graduate of St. Henry High School .
He was a farmer and was also employed for eighteen years as a custodian at Bloomfield Elementary School, Bryant, IN.
He served in the Ohio National Guard in the 1960's. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bryant, Indiana and was a member of the St. Joseph's Men's Sodality at the church. He enjoyed gardening and cutting wood. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bryant, Indiana, with Fr. Robert Moran officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3:00 pm-8:00 pm Tuesday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Wednesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Neurological Center, Burkettsville, Ohio.
