David J. Stein, 64, Coldwater, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 2, 2012, at Dayton VA Medical Center, Dayton, OH.
He was born March 11, 1947, in Celina, OH, to Robert Stein Jr. and Helen Miller.
Surviving are a son - Bradley (Krista) Stein of Portland, IN; daughter - Turee (Rick) Stewart of Portland, IN 3 sisters - Betty (Lester) Hemmelgarn of St. Henry, OH, Kathy (Don) Hamilton of Coldwater, OH, and Shirley Stein of Coldwater, OH; brother - Donald "Fred" (Theresa) Stein of Salamonia, IN; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sister-in-laws - Lola Stein of Celina, OH, and Tara Stein of Portland, IN; and Brother-In-Law - Steve Gibson of Celina, OH.
Deceased is step-father, Rudolph "Rudy" Wendel; two brothers, Ronald & Tom Stein, and sister, Jane Gibson.
He is 1965 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam, and retired from North Star Blue Flame, North Star, Ohio. Funeral services are 5:00 PM Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Deacon John Parker officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Calling is 1:00 PM-5:00 PM Wednesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the Fort Recovery American Legion.
