Edward C. Green

Edward C. Green, 91, 377 Fox Rd., Fort Recovery, died at 1:27 a.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at Jay County Hospital, Portland, IN.
He was born March 15, 1919, in Fort Recovery, Ohio, to the late Otto A. Green and the late Frona Huffman. On June 15, 1943, he married Helen E. (King) Green, who survives.
Other survivors are Son, Mike (Nancy) Green of Fort Recovery, OH, Daughter, Sharol (Luke) Fullenkamp of Portland,, IN, Brother, Paul Green of Celina, OH, Sister, Onnolee Bickel of Fort Recovery, OH, Sister, Ruth Reier of Fort Recovery, OH, 6 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren.
He served in the US Army during WWII and was recipient of the purple heart. He retired from farming and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5713, Celina, Ohio. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio, the Rev. Verl Ballmer is officiating. Burial is at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. till services at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
