Elmer H. Reynolds

Elmer H. Reynolds, 70, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died July 10, 2016 at Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles, OH.
He was born August 30, 1945 in Muncie, IN, to the late Clarence Reynolds and the late Evalee (Morgan) Reynolds Barton. On January 18, 1964, he married Dianna ((Davis)) Reynolds, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Mark Reynolds of Dayton, OH, Rick (Melinda) Reynolds of Union City, IN and Kevin Reynolds of Fort Recovery, OH; 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; a sister, Lavella Reynolds of Muncie, IN; half brother, Garland (Inez) Barton of Muncie, IN; two step sisters, Marsha (Ron) Damron of Muncie, IN and Judy (Bud) Kraeger of FL; and his in-law, Carolyn Barton of Rigdon, IN.
He was also preceded in death by his step father, James Barton, a brother, Othie Reynolds, step brother, Wayne "Pete" Barton and step sister, Garnet Cunningham.
He was previously employed at Avco New Idea, Coldwater, OH and was a truck driver at AL Smith Trucking, Versailles, OH and Calmaine Foods, Union City, OH.
Elmer enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping, driving truck, and being with family and friends. He also enjoyed the special friendship with his dog, "Daisy". He had a wonderful and caring home health nurse, Glenna Allen from Comprehensive Health, Greenville, OH.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Darke County Humane Society or the Activity Fund at the Versailles Health Care Center.
