Evelyn B. Sutter

Evelyn B. Sutter, 82, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on June 11, 2014, at her residence. She was born January 31, 1932, in Maria Stein, OH, to the late Lawrence Bruggeman and the late Elizabeth (Heitkamp) Bruggeman. On November 7, 1953, she married the late Herbert Sutter, who died December 10, 1999.
Surviving are six sons, Larry (Sharon) Sutter of Lake Wales, FL, Bob (Jeannette) Sutter of Fort Recovery, OH, Frank (Lisa) Sutter of Fort Recovery, OH, Ken (Patty) Sutter of Celina, OH, Dale (Sharon) Sutter of Fort Recovery, OH, and Charles Sutter of Fort Recovery, OH; six daughters, Deb (Jeff) Roessner of Fort Recovery, OH, Jean Sutter of Rossburg, OH, Rhonda (Ron) Crouch of Fort Recovery, OH, Lynn (Dan) Witwer of Greenville, OH, Amy Sutter of Fort Wright, KY, and Lori (Brian) Will of Fort Recovery, OH; five sisters, Janet Muhlenkamp of Portland, IN, Rody (Art) Prenger of Chickasaw, OH, Bernice Bruggeman of Coldwater, OH, Margie Buschur of Celina, OH, and Marlene Calhoun of Tuson, AZ; 36 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Ginny Bruggeman of Coldwater, OH and Kate Bruggeman of Coldwater, OH; in-laws, Delores Cosgrove of Wapakoneta, OH, Pat Sutter of Celina, OH, Pat (Hank) Beyke of Franklin, TN, Mary Duwelling of San Luis Obispo, CA, Jeannette (Sylvan) Jutte of St. Henry, OH, Carolyn Sutter of Royal Center, IN, Lana Sutter of Mendon, OH, Terri (Bernie) Gero of Syracuse, NY, and Joe (Bev) Sutter of Brookings, OR.
Deceased are three sons, Don, Mark and David Sutter, two brothers, Lavern Bruggeman, and Leroy Bruggeman, and two grandchildren.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joe, Ohio. She was a mother for almost 60 years, a grandmother for almost 40 years and a great grandmother for almost 14 years. She enjoyed quilting, embroidery, cooking, and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Monday, June 16, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joe, Ohio, Fr. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, St. Joe, Ohio.
Calling is 1:00 pm-7:00 pm Sunday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Monday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
