Irene M. Reinhard, age 90, of Fort Recovery, died April 11, 2020 at The Gardens at St. Henry, St. Henry.
She was born October 28, 1929, in Cassella, Ohio, to the late August and Veronica (Langenkamp) Otte. On September 12, 1953, she married Jerome "Jerry" Reinhard, who survives.
Also surviving are her children, Patrick "Pat" (Nancy) Reinhard of Fort Recovery, Carol (Nick) Kahlig of Coldwater, Steve (Kim) Reinhard of Fort Recovery, Janice (Steve) Wuebker of Summerfield, NC and Charles "Chuck" (Krista) Reinhard of Oakland, CA; a sister, Dorothy Gaerke of Fort Recovery; grandchildren, Amy, Matt, Chris, Greg, Deanna, Tyler, Ashleigh, Ben, Madilyn, Henry, Isabella and Jake; 17 great grandchildren; and in-laws, Ethel Bruns of St. Henry and Edna Reinhard of Plainfield, IN.
She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lisa; a grandson, Nicholas; siblings, Hilda (Frank) Stammen, Lauretta (Lawrence) Meyer, Marie (Aloys) Unrast, Alvina (Richard) Kunk, Urban Otte, Louis (Irene) Otte, Bernadine (Edward) Stammen, Alma (Jerome) Fullenkamp, Leonard (Loretta) Otte, Albert (Lenore) Otte and Bernard Gaerke; and in-laws, Eugene Reinhard, Irene (Belton) Gardner, Dominic Reinhard, Norbert (Florence) Reinhard, Sr. Sylvia (Lucille) Reinhard, Gerald Bruns, Joseph Reinhard, Shirley Reinhard and Robert Reinhard.
She was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, its Altar Sodality and the Daughters of Isabella Circle 810, Fort Recovery.
She bowled at Miracle Lanes, Fort Recovery for 50 years. Irene enjoyed being busy, whether it be gardening or baking. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren loved her cinnamon rolls and cookies but she just enjoyed spending time with them.
Due to COVID-19 a private family Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, with Fr. Christian Cone-Lombarte as celebrant. A live stream of the mass will be available at www.fortrecoverycatholics.org/streamspot/. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
