Kaitlyn Rebecca Morningstar

Kaitlyn Rebecca Morningstar, age 21 of Winchester, Indiana passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

She was born on November 28, 2001, in Coldwater, Ohio, to Robert and Ronda Morningstar.

Kaitlyn is survived by her mother, Ronda Morningstar (fiancé Todd Port) of Winchester, IN; father, Robert Morningstar of Portland, IN; sisters, Kristi (Ryan) Sheffer, Kelli Morningstar, and Kylie Morningstar all of Portland, IN; niece, Maddelyn; nephews, Cooper and Tucker; maternal grandfather, Stephen Vore; paternal grandmother, Andrea Morningstar; aunt, Angie (Kurt) Kline; uncles, Eric Vore, Jason (Tara) Loy, and Mitch (Christi) Loy; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

She is preceded by her maternal grandmother, Rebecca Myers; maternal great grandparents, Louie and Lela Myers and Raymond and Marie Vore; paternal grandparents, Robert and Helen Morningstar.

Kaitlyn graduated from Jay County High School in 2020. She was involved in gymnastics, cheerleading, and volleyball for many years. Kaitlyn enjoyed doing hair, makeup, and nails. She loved spending time with her family and friends more than anything. She spent a lot of time at the racetrack in Winchester, IN, where she was a trophy girl for her grandpa. Kaitlyn will be deeply missed by her family, friends and her dog, Onyx.

A Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the funeral home with a visitation prior to the service from 9-10 AM. Burial will follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
