Kathryn L. Stein, 93, 21121 Southwest 85th Ave., Cove 206, Miami, Florida, died November 28, 2010, at Miami, FL. She was born November 16, 1917, in Sandoval, IL, to the late Herbert Hipsher and the late Catherine Cook. On January 30, 1937, she married the late Ferdinand Stein, who died September 3, 1973.
Surviving are son - Richard (Mary) Stein of Minster, Ohio; daughter - Judy (Ron) Swartout of Lakeworth, FL; sister - Violet Schmitz of Celina, OH; 2 Half Sisters - Betty Heiby of Marco Island, FL & Mary Lou Hoening of Miami, FL; 9 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren; 2 sons-in-law - Edward Livingston of Lakeview, OH & John (Douglas) Roughton of Kitty Hawk, NC.
Also deceased are daughters, Janet Livingston & Joyce Roughton; 1 Grandchild; 1 Great Grandchild; brother, George Hipsher; sister, Lillian Jory; step brothers, Walter Parks, Bernard Parks & Jake Parks;and Half Sister, Barb Snyder.
She and he husband owned & operated the former Stein Coal Company, Fort Recovery and she also was a sales representative of the West Bend Company.
She is a member of the Legion of Mary, Miami, FL, was a former member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Ft. Recovery, Ohio and member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Miami, FL.
Services are 10:30 AM, Friday at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Ft. Recovery, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Ft. Recovery, Ohio.
Calling is 9:00 AM-10:00 AM Friday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
