Kenneth W. "Kenny" Bergman, 65, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died May 10, 2014, at his residence. He was born January 12, 1949, in Celina, OH, to the late Walter Bergman and Kathryn (Vonderhyde) Bergman. Mother, Kathryn Bergman survives in Fort Recovery, OH. Other survivors are fiancée, Amanda Wehrkamp of Fort Recovery, OH; two daughters, Stacy Christoff of Lima, OH and Lilly Wehrkamp of Home; four brothers, Gregory Bergman of Portland, IN, Calvin (Teresa) Bergman of Monrovia, MD, Kevin (Kim) Bergman of Ansonia, OH and Eric (Lisa) Bergman of Salamonia, IN; four sisters, Elaine Brunswick of Portland, IN, Becky (Greg) Shreeve of Salamonia, IN, Jacqueline Abels of Portland, IN and Miriam Major of Pennville, IN.
Deceased is an infant sister, Kristina Bergman and a brother, Kurt Bergman
He was a 1967 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was the owner & operator of Bergman Trucking, Fort Recovery, Ohio. He was a member of the American Legion Post 345 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6515, both of Fort Recovery. Services will be held at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, at 10:30 am, Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Fr. Thomas Dorn will be officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Calling is 4:00 pm-8:00 pm Tuesday and 9:30 am-10:30 am Wednesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the American Legion.
