He was born March 5, 1934, in Burkettsville, OH, to the late Lawrence Bruggeman and the late Elizabeth Heitkamp. On June 5, 1957, he married Virginia (Bruggeman) who survives.
Also surviving are 6 sons - John (Donna) Bruggeman of Portland, IN, Jim (Bonnie) Bruggeman of Fort Recovery, OH, Tim (Samantha) Bruggeman of Fort Recovery, OH, Dan (Stephanie) Bruggeman of Portland, IN, Bill (Emy) Bruggeman of Celina, OH, Roland (Marie) Bruggeman of Portland, IN; daughter - Donna (Mike) Noll of Coldwater, OH; 6 sisters - Evelyn Sutter of Fort Recovery, OH, Janet (Ernie) Muhlenkamp of Portland, IN, Rosemary (Art) Prenger of Chickasaw, OH, Bernice Bruggeman of Coldwater, OH, Margie Buschur of Celina, OH, Marlene Calhoun of Tucson, AZ; Sister-In-Law - Catherine Bruggeman of Coldwater, OH; 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Deceased is brother, Leroy Bruggeman; Brother-In-Law, Herb Sutter and Brother-In-Law, Rich Buschur.
He was a self employed truck driver and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, OH.
Services are 10:30 am Wednesday at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, OH, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery, OH.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Tuesday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Wednesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, OH.
