Marcella A. "Sally" Stukenborg

Marcella A. "Sally" Stukenborg, 97, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on March 6, 2015, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. She was born November 6, 1917, in St. Henry, OH, to the late Henry Evers and the late Mary (Dwenger) Evers. On April 24, 1941, she married the late Leo Stukenborg, who died December 14, 1987.
Surviving are a daughter, Jennifer Cheeseman of Fort Recovery, OH; three grandchildren, Melissa (Jeff) Hoying, Valerie (Deron) Blasingame, and Tyler Gaerke; and seven great grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Marie "Micky" Evers and a brother, Clem Evers.
She was employed as a cook for the former West Elementary School, Fort Recovery and helped on the family farm. She also worked at J. Cheeseman Wellness Center in St. Peter, Ohio.
She was formerly a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter, Ohio and was a member of their Christian Mother's Sodality. She was currently a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio. She enjoyed playing cards, reading and helping others with natural healing. She also enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio, Fr. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, St. Peter, Ohio.
Calling is 3:00 pm-8:00 pm Tuesday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Wednesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
