Mary Ann Post, age 76, of Portland, Indiana, passed away on February 21, 2019 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater. She was born June 20, 1942, in Dayton, OH, to the late Urban and Mary (May) Reitz. On September 16, 1961, she married Thomas Post, who passed away October 14, 2015.
Surviving are her children, Ginny Bartlett of Keystone, IN, Ruthie (Mark) Homan of Fort Recovery, Rick (Teresa) Post of Portland, Peggy (Dave) Alig of Fort Recovery and Dave (Kelly) Post of Pennville, IN; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; her siblings, Rita Guziak of Warrenton, VA, Theresa Kelly of Clayton, NC and Joe (Phyllis) Reitz of Dayton, OH; and her in-laws, Marilyn Post of Coldwater, Janie (Jim) Timmerman of Fort Recovery, Marty (Gary) Knapke of Coldwater and Pat Post of Lima, OH.
Preceding her in death is a brother-in-law, John Guziak and in-laws, John Post and Marita Post.
She was a 1960 graduate of Coldwater High School, Coldwater and worked until her retirement at Fort Recovery Industries.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bryant, Indiana and its Altar Rosary Sodality. Mary Ann also played the organ at church for 56 years.
She enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, flowers and being with family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, February 25, 2019 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bryant, Indiana, with Fr. Kenneth Alt as celebrant. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 1:00 pm-6:00 pm Sunday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Monday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
