Melinda Sue Matsuda

Melinda Sue Matsuda, 39, of St. Anthony, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the EverHeart Care Center in Greenville, Ohio.

She was born on August 26, 1983, in Coldwater, Ohio, to Edwin and Johnna (Evans) Garland.

In addition to her parents, Melinda is survived by her husband, Edwin Matsuda of Hawaii, her children, Isaiah Garland, Karen (Kyle Rose) Garland, Kiana Matsuda, and Elena Matsuda, all of St. Anthony; her grandson, Malakai and 2 additional grandchildren on the way; her siblings, Chad (Heather Handwerk) Garland of Greenville, Jena Garland of Greenville, Edward (Hallie Bush) Garland of Union City, Ohio, and Betsy Evans of Union City, Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Melinda enjoyed being with her children, listening to music, especially Bob Marley, and watching movies.

A celebration of Melinda's life will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the Fort Recovery Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Brad Ratliff officiating. 

Guests may visit with her family on Friday from 3:00 PM until the start of the service at 4:00 PM at the church
