Michael J. Evers, 47, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died May 28, 2013 in Fort Recovery, OH.
He was born January 19, 1966, in Portland, IN, to John Evers and Mary Jean (Wendel), who both survive in Fort Recovery. On November 23, 2002, he married Tracy (Hein), who survives.
Also surviving are four sons - Caleb, Alex, Josh and Tony Evers, all of home; 4 brothers - Kevin (Kathy) Evers of Fort Recovery, OH, Alan (Kate) Evers of New Weston, OH, Doug Evers of Fort Recovery, OH, and Dave Evers of Fort Recovery, OH; 2 sisters - Janice (Michael) Osterloh of New Weston, OH and Linda (Bill) Smith of Morrow, OH; a mother-in-law - Cheryl Hein of Fort Recovery, OH; 3 sisters-in-law - Christy (Phil) Homan of Fort Recovery, OH, Lisa (Kimo) Bechtol of Fort Recovery, OH, and Rachel (Kyle) Koesters of Coldwater, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deceased are father-in-law, Dave Hein; grandparents, Aloys & Armella Wendel and Florence & Anna Evers. He was a 1984 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and received a bachelors degree from Wilmington College, Wilmington, Ohio.
He was owner and operator of Evers Consulting Services, Fort Recovery and was affiliated with Brookside Labs, New Bremen, Ohio and was also a farmer.
He was a member of Brookside Society of Professional Consultants, Certified Professional Crop Consultant Independent, and was treasurer of Brookside Consultants of Ohio. He was also a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Fr. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Sharpsburg, Ohio.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Friday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Saturday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
