Michael V. Wuebker, 53, Celina, Ohio, died on June 8, 2013, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, Ohio. He was born December 25, 1959, in Portland, IN, to the late Victor Wuebker and the late Martha Grevencamp . On August 2, 1980, he married the late Mary (Brunswick) Wuebker, who died April 26, 2013.
Surviving are 3 daughters - Marianne (Joe) Bruns of Cassella, OH, Margaret Wuebker of home, Clara Wuebker of home; son - Robert (Jennifer) Wuebker of Columbus, OH; 5 sisters - Barbara (Gene) Lennartz of Fort Recovery, OH, Virginia Wade of Frederick, Maryland, Jane (Paul) Kleinhenz of St. Henry, OH, Marge (Sal) DeMauro of Tampa, FL, Patti (Dave) Stahl of Fort Recovery, OH; brother - Steve (Jan) Wuebker of Parma, Italy; 3 grandsons - Owen, Roman, and Victor; brothers and sisters-in-law - Wanda (Richard) Fullenkamp of Englewood, OH, Marilyn (Tom) Bubp of Englewood, OH, Margaret (Virgil) Franck of St. Henry, OH, Dorothy (Steve) Knapke of Sharpsburg, OH, Cindy (Bill) Snyder of Celina, OH, Ruth Ann Brunswick of Celina, OH, and Mike (Deb) Collins of New London, OH.
Also deceased are a sister, Linda Collins, father and mother-in-law, Mark and Emma Brunswick, and brothers-in-law, Ben Brunswick and Charlie Wade.
He was a 1978 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, received an associate degree in engineering from Sinclair Community College, Dayton, Ohio and a bachelor's degree from Wright State University, Dayton.
He was employed as a field service engineer for MTS Systems, Eden Prairie, Minnasota
He served as a combact engineer with the 1/75th Airborne Rangers in the US Army.
He was a member of the Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, Ohio, the church choir, and served on the parish council. He volunteered as a coach for various sports and coached all his children.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday at Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw , Ohio, Fr. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial will follow at the Precious Blood Cemetery, Chickasaw, Ohio.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Tuesday and 9:00 am-9:40 am Wednesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Margaret and Clara Wuebker's College Fund, Marion Township Parks or American Red Cross. Contribution envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
