R. Elizabeth "Betty" Fullenkamp
R. Elizabeth "Betty" Fullenkamp, 90, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on October 11, 2015, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, Ohio.
She was born May 20, 1925, in Fort Recovery, to the late Felix and Vivian (Kleinhenz) Wangler. On May 29, 1946, she married Dominic "Nick" Fullenkamp, who died March 30, 1986.
Surviving are eight children, Bob (Deb) Fullenkamp of Clayton, OH, Kathy (Rich) Olsen of Strongsville, OH, Larry (Jamie) Fullenkamp of Springboro, OH, Steve Fullenkamp of Riverside, OH, Dan Fullenkamp of Fort Recovery, Pat (Chuck) Braun of Coldwater, Ted (Melanie) Fullenkamp of Wapakoneta, OH, Roger (Michelle) Fullenkamp of Coldwater; 13 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Jeanette Fullenkamp of St. Henry, OH, and Cleopha Bihn of Fort Recovery.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Chuck Wangler and a sister, Peggy Gelhaus.
She was a 1943 graduate of Fort Recovery High School.
She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella Circle 810, Fort Recovery. Betty was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery. She was also a fifty year member of the church choir and a member of the Altar Sodality of the church.
She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Fr. Ned Brown officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3:00 pm-8:00 pm Wednesday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Thursday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio. A Daughters of Isabella prayer service 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
