He was born January 9, 1958, in Coldwater, OH, to the late Julian Rammel and Edna (Weitzel) Rammel. His mother, Edna Rammel Rose survives in Fort Recovery. On August 18, 1978, he married Bonnie (Thobe) Rammel, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons - Chris (Rachel) Rammel of Fort Recovery, OH, and Scott (Emily) Rammel of Fort Recovery, OH; a daughter - Renee (Scott) Brunswick of Fort Recovery, OH; 11 grandchildren; two sisters - Helen (Jim) Steinlage of St. Henry, OH, and Diane Uhlenhake of St. Henry, OH; three brothers - Jim (Jane) Rammel of Fort Recovery, OH, Dave (Kim) Rammel of Fort Recovery, OH, and Roger (Marilyn) Rammel of Fort Recovery, OH; a mother-in-law - Ida Thobe of Celina, OH; brother-in-law - Clete Nietfeld of Fort Recovery, OH; and in-laws - Carol Kunk of Silsbee, TX, John (Susan) Thobe of Willow Springs, MO, Pat (Ron) May of Fort Recovery, OH, Joe (Deb) Thobe of Fort Recovery, OH, and Jerry "Dutch" (Beth) Thobe of Fort Recovery, OH.
Deceased is a father-in-law, Jerry Thobe, a sister, Bernice Nietfeld, brothers-in-law, James Uhlenhake, Gene Kunk, and Charles Breaux;
He was a 1976 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and was employed as a truck driver with Cooper Farms, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio. He enjoyed driving his golf cart, wood working, gardening, manicuring his yard, and being with his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio, Fr. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Wednesday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Thursday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
