Ronald T. "Ron" Albers, 56, Portland, Indiana, died November 12, 2013 from injuries sustained during an auto accident in Mercer County, Ohio.
He was born August 22, 1957 in Coldwater, OH, to Carl Albers and Alvira (Lange). On April 20, 1979, he married Joyce (Grieshop) Albers, who survives.

He was employed as a Die Maintenance Technician at CAPT, Celina, Ohio and was also a farmer.
He served as Scout Master for Fort Recovery Boy Scouts, served as a Deacon for the First Church of Christ, Fort Recovery, Ohio and was a member of the First Church of Christ, 1049 Union City Rd., Fort Recovery, Ohio. He enjoyed farming, golfing, spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren and above all he had a deep love for God, which he instilled in his family.
Services are 10:30 am Friday, November 15, 2013 at the First Church of Christ, Fort Recovery, the Pastor Gary Snowden and Rev. Don Elmore officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Thursday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Friday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
