Shane Long

Shane M. Long, 19, 312 Harrison St., Fort Recovery, Ohio, died at 8:45 a.m. November 14, 2010, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, Ohio. He was born December 29, 1990, in Coldwater, Ohio, to Mark Long and Sharon Brunswick who survive in Fort Recovery. Other survivors are a sister, Kelly Long, Fort Recovery; Grandparents, Harry & Rita Long, Fort Recovery and Richard & Luella Lochtefeld, St. Rose, OH.
He was a 2009 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, and attended The Transition Center, Coldwater, Ohio. He was a member of the Boy Scouts, Fort Recovery, Special Olympics, Celina, Ohio, and was student manager for Fort Recovery Baseball, Mississinawa Valley Basketball, and St. Henry Basketball programs.He was also a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery. Services are 10:30 a.m. November 18, 2010 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Calling is Wednesday 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Thursday 9:00 am - 10:00 am at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
