Sharon S. Dues

Sharon S. Dues, 59, Portland, Indiana, died November 27, 2012 at her residence. She was born February 18, 1953, in Coldwater, OH, to the late Frederick Rammel and Delma (Speck) Rammel. Her mother, Delma Rammel, survives in Celina, Ohio. On July 29, 1972, she married Joseph H. Dues, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters - Shelly (Jeff) Vaughn of Fort Recovery, OH, Pam (Pete) Reinhart of New Bremen, OH; 3 sons - Joe M. (Gail) Dues of Portland, IN, Tim (Casey) Dues of New Knoxville, OH, Ben (Jamie) Dues of Portland, IN; 6 brothers - Larry (Ginny) Rammel of Greenville, OH, Dave (Beck) Rammel of Fort Recovery, Tom (Sandy) Rammel of Coldwater, OH, Rick (Phyllis) Rammel of Coldwater, Steve (Tonja) Rammel of Coldwater, Randy (Angie) Rammel of Fort Recovery; 3 sisters - Janice (Herb) Grieshop of Celina, OH, Marge (Fred) Dues of Coldwater, Jane (Paul) Kaverman of Geneva, IN; and 13 grandchildren. She was a 1971 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, Fort Recovery, Ohio. She was a long time employee of Jay School Corporation. She was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio and was a CYO Coordinator for the church, served on the church council, and was a member of the church's Altar Sodality. Funeral Mass is 10:30 am Friday at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio, Fr. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio. Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Thursday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Friday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio. Contributions can be made to Sharon Dues Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of the Portland Foundation.
