Sylvester B. Rosenbeck, 89, Fort Recovery, OH, died at 5:42 am May 27, 2011, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, OH. He was born August 29, 1921, in Coldwater, OH, to the late Henry Rosenbeck and the late Frances Severt. On January 24, 1948, he married the late Hilda Feltz, who died February 1, 2011.
Surviving are 4 sons - Jim (Patty) Rosenbeck of Wendelin, OH, John (Betty) Rosenbeck of Sharpsburg, Ohio, Joe Rosenbeck of Wendelin, Ohio, Rich (Sandy) Rosenbeck of Wendelin, Ohio; 2 daughters - Lucy (Virgil) Tobe of Wendelin, OH and Alice (Ted) Dull of St. Marys, Ohio; brother - Wilfred (Mary) Rosenbeck of Coldwater, Ohio; 19 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren.
Deceased are a grandchild, Matthew, 2 brothers, Urban and Edward Rosenbeck, 5 sisters, Dorothy Droesch, Louise Timmerman, Mary Wolters, Leona Droesch and Rita Nerderman
He retired from Avco New Idea, Coldwater, Ohio and he was also a retired farmer.
He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Wendelin, OH.
Services are 10:30 am, Tuesday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Wendelin, OH, the Fr. Benedict Magabe officiating. Burial is at St. Wendelin Cemetery.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Monday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Tuesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, OH.
