Tamara M. "Tammy" Wendel, 35, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on January 20, 2014, at James Cancer Center, Columbus, Ohio. She was born November 24, 1978, in Coldwater, OH, to Robert L. and Marilyn (Quinter) Wendel who both survive in Fort Recovery, OH.
Also surviving are a sister, Sandra Wendel of West Carrollton, OH; two godchildren; Elliott Keller of Fort Recovery, OH and Tony Fullen of Republic, OH.
Deceased are a brother, Morris Wendel, a sister, Mary Catherine Wendel and her grandparents, Rochus & Mildred Wendel, and Clarence "Tiny" & Mary Catherine Quinter. She was a 1997 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and received an Associates Degree in accounting from Wright State Lake Campus, Celina, OH. She worked several years at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, OH as a STNA "care companion". She was a member of the Catholic Financial Life (formerly CK of A) St. Joe, OH and Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, OH. She enjoyed puzzles, crocheting, playing hand and foot cards and helping each year with the annual CK of A brunch. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio, with Fr. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, St. Joe, Ohio. Calling is 2:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday and 9:00 - 10:00 am Thursday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
