Theodore N. “Ted” Timmerman, age 56, of Redmond, WA and formerly of Fort Recovery, died March 22, 2020, at Redmond, WA.
He was born May 13, 1963, in Portland, IN, to the late Thomas and Cecilia (Suhy) Timmerman.
Surviving are his children, Jordan Timmerman, Brittany Timmerman, and Alissa Timmerman, all of Richmond, IN; siblings, Ben Timmerman of Honolulu, HI, James (Susann) Timmerman of Edmonds, WA, Terry “Lee” (Mana) Timmerman of Oviedo, FL, Bev (Dave) Raths of Tullahoma, TN, Julie Montgomery of Dale City, VA, Eileen (Thomas) Sass of Copley, OH, Jerry (Jenny) Timmerman of Florence, KY, Phil Timmerman of Kirkland, WA, Phyllis (Dave) Sutter of St. Henry, OH and Peter (Jean) Timmerman of Lincoln, NE; brother-in-law, Joe Breitenstein of Kettering, OH; and a very special partner of 20 years, Sabrina Jill Bryan, Sandy, OR.
Also preceding him in death are siblings, Jack Timmerman, Judy Timmerman and Jane Breitenstein.
He was a 1982 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and attended the University of Cincinnati.
Ted had a love for the Indianapolis Colts and was a passionate sports fan who thoroughly enjoyed watching his nephews’ sporting events. Ted embraced the #13, as he was the 13th child, born on the 13th of May, had 13 siblings and his name Ted N. Timmerman had 13 letters in it. He was always looking for an association with the number 13. Ted was a man with a tender heart (except when he was playing cards and then he would hang you out to dry without batting an eye).
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Myotonic Dystrophy Fund, c/o the Fort Recovery Community Foundation, P.O. Box 52, Fort Recovery, OH 45846 or to Touched by Type 1, 195 S. Westmonte Dr., Suite 1128, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
Due to the restrictions of the Corona Virus, arrangements are pending.
Condolences may be sent to Ted’s family at www.brockmanboeckmanfh.com
