Virginia H. Fuelling Lucterhand

Virginia H. Fuelling Lucterhand, 92, Portland, Indiana, died August 26, 2013, at Dunkirk-Millers Merry Manor, Dunkirk, Indiana.
She was born January 4, 1921, in Mercer County, OH, to the late Lewis Menchhofer and the late Pearl Spreng. On May 8, 1946 she married her first husband Louis Fuelling, and he passed on February 19, 1990. On October 31, 1992 she married her second husband Merle Lucterhand, who died December 1, 2008.
Surviving are a son - Roger (Delores) Fuelling of Glendale, AZ; two grandchildren; a step son - Ken Lucterhand of Knoxville, TN; a step daughter - Karen Burtch of Macomb, IL and several nieces and nephews.
Also deceased are a sister, Erma Monroe and a brother, Herman Menchhofer.
She was a 1941 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
She was employed as a secretary for the Fort Recovery Equity and was also employed at the former Hartwig Poultry Processing, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
She was a member of WELCA, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Salamonia, IN and Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio. Throughout her life, Virginia was someone who exhibited Acts 20:35, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Services are 11:00 am Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. Sharon Stonerock will be officiating. Burial is at Salamonia Cemetery, Salamonia, Indiana.
Calling is 10:00 am-till services at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
