Thomas C. Shaw, joined the funeral industry in 2018 where he has continued to celebrate lives and serve families since. He is a graduate of Greenville High School (2014), The Ohio State University (2018), and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science (2021). Thomas is licensed in the state of Ohio and Indiana as a Funeral Director.
Thomas and his wife, Hannah, reside in Fort Recovery, Ohio with their daughter, Eleanor Rose. He is a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery Knights of Columbus, and the Fort Recovery Chamber of Commerce. Thomas also volunteers as a 4-H advisor and is member of the Greenville Elks Lodge, Ohio Farm Bureau, and the Ohio FFA Alumni.
During his free time, Thomas enjoys spending time with his family, enjoying local craft beers and wines, and rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes. When not in a suit, you can find him enjoying the outdoors, playing a round of golf, kayaking, and improving his amateur photography skills.
David is a fully licensed preneed specialist for Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home. He has been planning meaningful and healing funeral services since December of 2002. In October of 2018, he was named a Certified Professional in Funeral Planning by Dr. Alan Wolfelt. David is honored to meet with families at the funeral home, their personal home or wherever someone is comfortable, to strategically and thoroughly plan their healing funeral service.
David has been a lifelong resident of Darke County and currently resides in Arcanum, Ohio with his family. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children, Meghan and Matthew. Jennifer is a local school teacher with a Master's degree in education. David is very active with youth and youth sports in Ohio and surrounding states. He is the President and Founder of Focus Fastpitch, Inc., a youth non-profit sports program here in Darke County.
When David isn't playing the role as a husband, dad, brother, son, couch, community board member, or youth activity coordinator, he uses his free time to sleep!
Ron attended Wright State University, graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, and has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer here in Fort Recovery since 1977. After being employed at the former Brockman Funeral Home for 13 years, Ron and his wife, Elly purchased the business in 1991. Elly received a bachelors degree in medical technology from Wright State University and St. Elizabeth Medical Center, both of Dayton, Ohio. She served as a staff assistant at the funeral home while employed as a certified medical technologist at two area hospitals. After retiring as a medical technologist she remains a staff assistant and is the RCIA Coordinator for Fort Recovery Cluster Parishes.
